I'm presuming this is a PHPBB (Looks like the ones I've managed in the past, anyway)... Is there a way to turn ON that the board sends me notifications when I get PMs or someone replies to a thread I've posted in?
It's kinda frustrating to have to login every few hours to check on activity. I'd rather get a notification.
Thank you!

You can go to your PM Box (personal messgae box) and then click on preferneces and then there will be an option to turn on an alert to email when you recieve a PM and you will click that over to yes and then hit save and your setting will be saved. It can be done with PM but not with threads. Hope that helps! -Jen

Right, being here on my own (shakes fist at time diff) and kinda wanting this feature, I investigated your query.
And yes, you can get notified for thread replies. First of all, bookmark your thread. You can do this after you've written it, the symbol at the bottom of the post with bookmark next to it.
Then go to your profile. Right next to 'modify profile' you see 'bookmarks'. Click on that.
Above your bookmarked thread is 'modify bookmarks'. Click on that.
Under the message: 'By default, when you bookmark a thread, what type of notification would you like to receive when a new post is made in that thread?' chose 'by Email' and there you go. You should receive notifications when that thread has been added to.
