The Doctor opened his eyes, looking around he was inside his TARDIS which was good it meant that he didn’t up in a cage there were worst things in life that could happen to him. Rubbing his head The Doctor leaned against the console, the last thing he remembered was going toe to toe with the Daleks on the station now he’s woken to a bad headache was he drinking again? It hit him like a light bulb going off inside his brain The Doctor rushed out of his TARDIS he accidently knocked someone down. “Sorry.” The Doctor called out not really turning back.
Somehow the TARDIS brought him back to Earth, London to be exact he wasn’t on Satellite Five anymore Rose, Jack they weren’t anywhere to be seen this can’t be good The Doctor thought to himself. “Rose! Jack!” The Doctor called out but nothing. Turning around he eyed the TARDIS, he didn’t know what was going on he remembered reabsorbing the energies from Rose then charging himself towards the incoming Daleks forces then blank. Alright so there had to be a reason to all this Rose and Jack must be somewhere they couldn’t just have vanished. The Doctor took one good look around it was London alright.
“What’s happening?” The Doctor muttered to himself confused of everything that was going on. Walking back inside his TARDIS he looked back at the console it confirmed that he was in London but it was all kind of strange to him he just didn’t picture what could be the reason why him and the others got separated. Leaning against the console once more The Doctor took a deep breath and sighed he had to think. They could be back on Satellite Five but he didn’t know if this was future London or past London. The Doctor walked out of his TARDIS he would think of something he always did he was a Time Lord after all.

No matter where he went there always seemed to be somebody somewhere that cared to destroy the universe…honestly there had to be healthier habits which needed developing instead of domination and damnation. But just the same the world…no the universe was always on the brink of destruction and now was no different. Never rightly was when he stopped to think about it. There was usually always some Dalek or Cybermen or some new terror set to destroy what he had spent a good portion of his life trying to keep together...So went life. Besides if they didn’t care to destroy it what would be left for him to do? The danger was half the fun!
Brink of destruction or not apparently didn’t matter when it came to the wash as Donna had eloquently explained that “clean knickers took priority” and had left The Doctor very much alone. She had picked the wash over a Beatles concert…their first concert…honestly sometimes he would never get the human race.
"A bit of silence does a soul good," he explained to the Tardis as he stared up at her for a moment.
"Right then...moments over," The Doctor added on as he bounced back to his feet and made his way to begin to check the Tardis over.
Apparently it was best to do the checking when one wasn’t in the middle of time travel…who knew?
“Right then…this still goes there…that here…this does…well what does that do?” The Doctor asked to nobody inparticular as he pulled a coil he was rather certain did not belong in the panel out with a snap. Pulling the glasses from his jacket pocket he examined the coil…he didn’t rightly need them but blimey did they make him look a bit more clever!
Back on track though…the coil…coil which upon inspection most certainly didn’t belong on the Tardis.
“What exactly are you?”
There was no time to figure it out though as the all to familiar hum of Tardis filled sprung to life as it came to life and quickly…far too quickly sprang into motion. The entire interior seemed to want to tear itself apart from the inside out as The Doctor gripped on to…nothing which was what sent him spiraling across the floor and crashing rather harshly into the wall as the Tardis shuddered once more and then fell silent with a small whine of protest.
The Doctor sat dazed for half a second before springing into action.
“What was all that about?” He asked his hands flying over the controls checking for what had bloody well happened. It was all in place though everything where it should and shouldn’t be…all there...all fine.
Running his hand through his hair for a moment and rocking back on his feet The Doctor stared at the panel once more.
“Not right though is it?” The Doctor asked stepping away and towards the door as he pushed it open and himself out.
Nearly knocking something or someone over on his way out The Doctor didn’t spare a second glance at them as he searched the area around just to be certain he was still where he was meant to be…and he was.
“Alright then…if that’s how it is,” The Doctor conceded with a shrug as he turned back towards the Tardis passing a man he figured had been the thing or rather person he had collided with before.
Pushing the door open once more The Doctor had all intentions of going back inside to figure out what had happened when something hit him…rather sharply and he spun back around to stare at the man he had just crossed…the man who had stepped out of the Tardis…his Tardis and walked right past him.
“Nooo” The Doctor exclaimed both astounded and amused and just a bit…ok a large bit excited by the possibility.
It was really no man at all…it was a man who was in fact…him!...Or well sort of.

Alright so this was a little bit weird The Doctor was confused on what happened but what he did know was that the TARDIS brought him here but he didn’t know what caused it, well he’ll know when he figured it out there has to be a good explanation on why this was happening. One thing bothered the Doctor if he was here in London then where was Jack and Rose they could be back on Satellite Five and in trouble by the incoming Dalek forces he had to get back and help them. Turning around he wondered if he could steal a newspaper to figure out what year he was in, but he didn’t see a trashcan anywhere.
The Doctor herd someone saying n, though it was London after all strange things happened in London and whenever he was nearby strange things seemed to attract him. The Doctor looked around and spotted the man saying no. There was something strange about this man he almost looked familiar to him but he couldn’t put a finger on it. The Doctor circled the man until he came up with only one possibility. “Oh no, I thought this might happen but never in my lifetime.” The Doctor explained, he had an explanation The Doctor had entered an alternate reality.
An alternate reality with another Doctor, well him he knew it he couldn’t explain it but he knew that this man standing before him was him but he couldn’t remember which incarnation of him he was, he didn’t look like anything like one through to eight. So this guy must be future me, The Doctor thought. “You’re me right? Well us? A Doctor right?” The Doctor asked the man standing in front of him. The Doctor looked back at the man he seemed younger but possibly from the future ah he was getting an headache from thinking about this.

The Doctor could hardly stop the utterly amused smile which crossed his face as the man…the other Doctor caught sight of him. He LOVED when this happened! True it had only happened once before and there was the whole hole in the universe to worry about; but they had 5 minutes to deal with that…or well along the lines of 4 minutes and 15 seconds…ish.
The grin on his face only seemed to widen as The Doctor watched the other Doctor circle him carefully; he was rather certain he could almost hear the pieces falling into place for…well himself. It had taken the fifth incarnation of himself a bit longer to get it…a fan…anyways back on track.
“Oh no, I thought this might happen but never in my lifetime.”
“Oh yes…twice now actually,” The Doctor explained gently rocking back on his heels as his eyes met his former self.
The coil still clasped within the palm of his hand was for the moment forgotten as this moment in time however brief it was needed to be remembered as it was not every day you ran into yourself. Blimey he did always enjoy this and really wished it could occur more often; for a longer stint of time without a hole the size of Belgium being torn into the universe.
“You’re me right? Well us? A Doctor right?”
“Yup,” he explained with a bit of a pop at the end of the word.
“10th to be exact…you won’t exactly know me…not yet at least…but you! I definitely know you! The jacket! The hair…bit of hair…ears…and Rose…you’re the one who found her…”
And I was the one who lost her… The Doctor couldn’t help the thought and the smile on his face faltered ever so slightly. Even after the time that had passed he still found his thoughts going back to Rose and what he would give to get her back….what he wish he had to give to bring her back.
She was safe now though; safe and happy and that was what mattered.
“…Ah yes I know you well,” The Doctor explained the smile reaffirming itself as his eyes locked to himself once more.
