History:
Born in Berwick-upon-Tweed, a small village just outside the border of Scotland, Addi and her twin brother Jacob were raised into a family of nobility and status. The best education, the best musical training, the best clothing, the best toys, the best of everything was handed to them on a silver platter – and the children aged in a comfortable life, free from monetary stresses, and free from denial and shame. Though they were very well off and a family of status, the twins were never short on love, laughter and attention from their parents and house workers; many summer days were spent roaming the hills in Scotland, and visiting Addi’s favourite little hamlet in Scotland: Duns, just down the road from Berwick. Winters were spent tobogganing in the grounds of their lavish home, or on holiday in Italy or in Greece – but it was here, one winter in Greece, that Addi’s father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Addi holds a grudge for Greece, and a weakness for those who are ill.
Years passed, and Addi and Jacob were forced to watch their once strong, good humoured father deteriorate and seemingly fall apart before their eyes. Their mother, who was once warm and gentle, began to distance herself from the rest of her family, deciding that it was much easier to spend most of her time with her sister in London than spend time consoling her children and her husband who neared death – Jacob resents his mother for this, but Addi has given her a bit more slack. She seems to understand why it is her mother cannot watch the love of her life die. Their perfect family life was coming to an abrupt and screeching halt.
After her father’s death and her brother becoming the new Duke, Addi decided it was time for a change. She packed up her things and moved herself to further south, where she studies Astronomy and English at the University of Central London, and takes photography courses in her spare time. Her life there is relatively quiet and quite boring if her ask her opinion – there have only been a few occasions where her recent life has had any flavour to it... the first being when her long-term boyfriend proposed to her, only to ‘take it back’ hours after she agreed to it... the second being when she made the telly for reckless behaviour at a nightclub with her friends... the third being when she discovered that long-term boyfriend was sneaking around with one of the friends she was with at the nightclub.... the fourth being when she made the telly for punching said boyfriend in the face in public.
Other than that, Addi leads a very boring lifestyle that is in dire need of some excitement.

From an “Alice” RPG:
“The King of Hearts sat in a high-backed blood-red chair, shirtless, his white hair mussed up and wet, and his face screwed up in the deepest frown ever imaginable. His elbow rested against the chair and he stroked the side of his chin with his thumb, thinking deeply and hard about the confusing and frightening state of his kingdom outside his condo walls... but he wasn’t supposed to be doing this right now. He had been so worked up and extra brooding lately that Dutchess insisted he take a bath and try to relax himself, but the moment his body hit the water in his private, blinding white bathroom, he practically leapt like a hissing cat right back out of it again. So far he had only made it out of the bathroom that was attached to his room and into the only chair next to his bed... and so far there was no relaxation to be found in his solitude. So far just nasty thoughts. Worried thoughts. Nasty, worried thoughts.[/size]
These thoughts were so nasty, tragic and worrisome that he King was more than grateful for the knock upon his door when it came. Calling out for whomever it was to enter, he barely looked up from staring into space until the suit informed him of just who it was that was calling on him. There was a long moment of just staring in disbelief at the suit; and then a shorter moment of sheer, intense panic. What the hell had he done now? The rest of his family -- in fact anyone from his past ever -- barely came to see him or speak to him unless it was a matter of settling some debt his mother has dug him into. After a mild heart attack, Jack got to his feet, pulled a shirt on, combed his hair quickly, and exited the condo with a small nod of gratitude to the suit.
She was a beautiful woman, and she looked like a proper queen. When he came into her presence fully he put his feet together with a soft ‘click’ and bowed slightly, lowering his head to her respectfully, as he was raised to do. At least he was taught some manners where not taught to hate and discriminate. “Your Highness,” he greeted her, perhaps a bit awkwardly, his head still low. He was unsure why she had come to him; he was expecting horrible news... or a blow to the head at least.”
