Time lines, Time Lords, new TARDIS'... it was all a bit more insane than Donna was used to to be perfectly honest. She tried to follow the conversation as best she could, but after figuring out that the Doctor can cheat death and change his appearance, Donna's brain had slowed down a little.
There was something about a woman? And the old Doctor dying, but not dying, and this woman having something to do with it? And then something about somebody named Peri... Donna was fairly sure that much more of this would cause her head to explode.
"You rendered speechless is a rather terryfing concept,"
"Shut up," Donna said, shoving him gently.
And then the conversation when back to being confusing and about that Peri person again who Donn suspected was an old friend of the Doctor's and vaguely wondered just how many woman he had carted around the stars and why they stopped travelling with him.

"Silver lining I suppose," "I suppose," he sighed in agreement, ignoring his other self's muttering. He couldn't say he disagreed. "She's nice enough." "I couldn't be certain...I have Donna I haven't seen Peri since I was you and then after you I suppose but whether or not she is safe now with this...whatever this is...I'm sure she is fine...unless we take into account that this woman. This mystery time lord isn't wanting to help at all." "No, I'm quite sure she is," the Doctor replied firmly. "As for Peri, I should try to search for her. Ensure she's all right." "Where did you come from...just now?" "Right," he said, not having the answer. "Let's go inside," he said, heading into TARDIS again. He tossed his hat onto a hatstand and went to the console. "Ah... the readings appear garbled... hmm... well, you have been through the wars, haven't you... Gallifrey!" he decided. "Hmm... can you make sense of this?" he asked his counterpart.

The Doctor agreed that perhaps he should go search for Peri...his other self any how as it had been a very very long time since he had crossed paths with Peri. The 5th version of himself would no doubt provide her with a more familiar face by far. Following the 5th into the new TARDIS the Doctor motioned for Donna to follow.
"Ah... the readings appear garbled... hmm... well, you have been through the wars, haven't you... Gallifrey! Hmm... can you make sense of this?"
The Doctor pulled out his glasses from his jacket pocket and placed them on as he inspected the screen. To say it was garbled was being nice about it. But with a bit of time he could work through it...possibly.
"Eventually," The Doctor muttered more in response to himself as his eyes continued scanning over the screen before he was momentarily distracted by the interior of the new TARDIS his past self had landed himself with.
"Definetly different from what we're used to," The Doctor exclaimed as he rocked back on the balls of his feet momentarily taking the ship in.
An alarm in his jacket pocket cut through his idstraction and the Doctor pulled the phone from his pocket. The Doctor's eyes went to the screen of the cell phone and it took him a moment to grasp the words which appeared on the small screen.
Doctor! Jenny's here! Your daughter, Jenny! Come on, see for yourself!
It was from Martha that much was clear; and it was also clear that life was getting far crowded and eventful at one time for it to be clear. There were times when it seemed as if there was not a bloody thing to do and then there were times like this where it seemed like everything joined with each other and decided to break out at the same time.
He was of course delighted to hear that Jenny was back but it couldn't have been at a worse time; it was about this time that he wished he could have split himself into two...
It was at that moment that an idea hit him with enough force to nearly knock his head off. He could very well be at two places at one time...at least currently and there would be no holes ripped into the time stream or any such thing.
"There's a woman named Martha Jones...Doctor Martha Jones she is in London with a girl named Jenny. She's my daughter and the story is rather interesting but perhaps she will tell you it...if you are interested in meeting her while Donna and myself can see if we can't make some sense out of your...our current bit of confusion. See if your TARDIS can send those cordinates to mine and we can work on that while you meet your daughter...could be enlightening?"
The Doctor's eyes locked on to Donna and then back over at himself; it hadn't occured to him for some reason that perhaps Donna wouldn't want to go with him and instead want to go with the other him back to London.
"Unless of course you want to go back with him to London?" The Doctor asked looking at Donna.

Still completely at a loss for what was going on, Donna silently followed the Doctors in the other TARDIS and hoped to herself that referring to multiple Doctors didn't become a regular occurance.
"Ah... the readings appear garbled... hmm... well, you have been through the wars, haven't you... Gallifrey! Hmm... can you make sense of this?"
"Definetly different from what we're used to,"
Well that was true. Donna didn't know what the Doctor was referring to exaclty, but there was something different about his TARDIS that made her feel strange. She raised an eye brow as the Doctor pulled out his phone, wondering who would actually be calling him. The last time that happened it had been Martha taking him back to Earth... but they were already on Earth.
Hold on. Jenny? The Doctor's Jenny? The one that died? She wasn't dead? Anything the Doctors had been talking about paled in comparison to the confusion that Donna now felt... just... what?
"Unless of course you want to go back with him to London?"
"But... she's dead!" was all Donna could manage to say as she thought about whether she would rather go with her Doctor, or the other one. As wonderful as it would be to see Jenny. If it was in fact, actually Jenny, there was that whole Bad Wolf thing that needed working out... the end of the world... all that nonsense. "I mean... no... I'll stick with you."

"Definitely different from what we're used to," The Doctor looked up. "Not really. More wood, perhaps. A different mind, I suppose," he shrugged, realising that could be what he was referring to. He jumped when his counterpart started ringing, frowning as an early twenty-first century phone emerged from his pocket. Dratted things. A way for humans to contact him, no doubt, like it wasn't enough that Gallifrey could hurl his TARDIS back to them when ever they felt like it. Earth was nice, but only because he could leave. He peered over his counterpart's shoulder when he appeared somewhat shocked by the information. Doctor! Jenny's here! Your daughter, Jenny! Come on, see for yourself!"There's a woman named Martha Jones...Doctor Martha Jones she is in London with a girl named Jenny. She's my daughter and the story is rather interesting but perhaps she will tell you it...if you are interested in meeting her while Donna and myself can see if we can't make some sense out of your...our current bit of confusion. See if your TARDIS can send those cordinates to mine and we can work on that while you meet your daughter...could be enlightening?" "Doctor," he sighed. "Really? How is this relevant? Hmm? I was sent to help you, not become your little 'errand boy'! This 'daughter' of yours can keep, rifts in time, however, are somewhat more urgent!" "Yes, well, apparently, it's not as permanant as it used to be," the Doctor related, leaning against the console. "I mean... no... I'll stick with you." "Well, so long as that is sorted," the Doctor replied, not caring either way and feeling like he's just been elected babysitter by his tenth self. "Look, I've told you all I know, it's about time you returned the favour." He was feeling very discomforted, like the whole universe was out of whack, and was beginning to suspect that it didn't have as much to do with being near himself as he'd first imagined. " Anything unusual? Or do I have to go back to Gallifrey to find out?" His tone revealed how undesirable that particular option would be, even as he was absolutely determined to do so.

"I mean... no... I'll stick with you."
The Doctor smiled in response to Donna's answer. In truth he had wondered if she would want to stay after all or if she would pick to go back to London. She had wanted to come after all but he couldn't help but wonder that all she had seen had gone through he knew it could be possible that she wished to go home. Wouldn;t be the first time a companion had chosen the life they once had.
"Splendid then we will..."
"Doctor; Really? How is this relevant? Hmm? I was sent to help you, not become your little 'errand boy'! This 'daughter' of yours can keep, rifts in time, however, are somewhat more urgent! Look, I've told you all I know, it's about time you returned the favour. Anything unusual? Or do I have to go back to Gallifrey to find out?"
The Doctor's eyes narrowed as the Fifth went off on a tirade of his own. With every word that was spoken the Doctor could feel his own frusturation and anger growing as it simply brought to the for front exactly how upside down the world...the universe had become in such a short frame of time.
"Go to Gallifrey and find out? By all means tell me how that bloody well goes!" The Doctor snapped takign several steps toward himself. He had no idea what was going but the appearence of well himself had gone from exciting to more trouble to add to the list rather quickly. Perhaps this was why they were only meant to be in each others company for a short amount fo time.
"You told us all you know which may I point out isn't a bloody well lot of information; some blonde mystery woman stopped you from regenerating and agve you a new TARDIS and that is all you have to offer? It would take years tp make heads or tales of that."
The Doctor had begun to pace as frusturation boiled within him; everything was going wrong so very bloody wrong. Hell it had all gone wrong since he lost her. She had held things together for him and now it had all become one giant mass of mess between the Master and Gallifrey and Donna and Bad Wolf and the end of the bloody world...AGAIN!
"Anything unusual?" The Doctor stopped his pacing and stared back at himself not being able to form the proper words as there were far to many at once.
"It's all bloody well unusual! Like perhaps the end of the world for starters? A tricky little deal called Bad Wolf? Can't go forgetting the Master and Gallifrey and then there are the other worlds and times and wars and ah yes the fact that Donna here is apprently the most important woman in all of creation. So yes Doctor there is a far bloody amount going on out of sorts and that is all without new troubles!"
It was all too much far too much and if it was possible for him to explode...or implode really he would have bloody well been glad to.

Donna had to resist the urge to step away from the two Doctors as she noticed some mounting tension. Her Doctor was ready to move on, to go back to whatever it was they had previously been doing before being called here. The other one though, wanted information and, unless she was much mistaken (which she very well could be) they didn't have that information.
"Go to Gallifrey and find out? By all means tell me how that bloody well goes!"
Oh good, a Time Lord tantrum. That would be productive, wouldn't it?
"You told us all you know which may I point out isn't a bloody well lot of information; some blonde mystery woman stopped you from regenerating and agve you a new TARDIS and that is all you have to offer? It would take years tp make heads or tales of that."
"Doctor..." Donna said slowly, a hand reaching out to touch his arm gently in an attempt to calm him down. But he started pacing and she drew her arm back.
"Anything unusual?"
"Doctor!" she tried again, but he was staring too intently at his former self to notice her.
"DOCTOR!"
Donna grabbed the Doctor's shoulders and turned him to face her, looking at him sternly. She was half tempted to point to his own TARDIS and send him there for a time out or something equally as ridiculous but she restrained herself and managed to just shake her head.
"Better now?" she asked lightly.

"some blonde mystery woman stopped you from regenerating and gave you a new TARDIS and that is all you have to offer?" "Blonde? What are you talking about?" the Doctor replied, utterly baffled. "I mistook her for Adric, for crying out loud! Somewhat suffering from regeneration sickness," he added, rather bashfully. "And she did have the same... general face shape." "It's all bloody well unusual! Like perhaps the end of the world for starters? A tricky little deal called Bad Wolf? Can't go forgetting the Master and Gallifrey and then there are the other worlds and times and wars and ah yes the fact that Donna here is apprently the most important woman in all of creation. So yes Doctor there is a far bloody amount going on out of sorts and that is all without new troubles!" The Doctor listened very carefully to his rant. All this was new information. He was frowning in thought when Donna grabbed his elder self. "Right!" he declared with great certainty. "Tea," he decided, before leaving the console room for the kitchen. Naturally, he didn't actually know where it was so he just opened the first door he came across and yes, kitchen. He heard the telltale bubble of a kettle on the boil and prepared a small tea set, complete with cakes. Moments later, he reemerged and placed the set on a table that he was pretty certain had just appeared. He indicated the places for the pair to sit down opposite him and offered them tea. "Now," he said, once he'd settled. "Start from the beginning. End of the world?"

"DOCTOR!"
The Doctor's eyes locked with Donna's as she grabbed his attention; he stared at her for a moment allowing the few seconds to calm himself. It was nobodies fault and his frustration wasn't entirely justified but just the same it was there.
"Right! Tea."
It was as if the man had not heard a work he had said.
"Better now?"
The Doctor watched his younger self leave the room and he was half tempted to take his leave while he was gone and be through with it but that would hardly be productive and he knew it. Turning and giving Donna a look which clearly answered her question the Doctor set to pacing the small spot of area he currently occupied.
"Now. Start from the beginning. End of the world?"
The Doctor looked back over at his younger self once he had returned with the tea he seemingly assumed would repair all. Perhaps this was why they couldn't be in the same space for more then the allotted time...murder could occur. Reminding himself that again it wasn't his other self's fault but the last thing he wanted to was to rehash everything all over again. Experiencing it once was more then enough.
"Yes the end of the world...as always it seems like," The Doctor explained remaining standing.
"I know you want to help...as I am rather certain I know you well enough," The Doctor explained with a ghost of a smile.
"But the most you can do for me now is to go to Martha and Jenny and be sure that they are safe and all is well. And keep an eye on them...the universe seems to be changing far to fast these days," the Doctor explained his eyes locked with the other Doctor's hoping that the importance would get across this time.

"Yes the end of the world...as always it seems like," The Doctor explained remaining standing. "Sit," he said, firmly, but not unkindly. "Please." "I know you want to help...as I am rather certain I know you well enough," The Doctor explained with a ghost of a smile. "Respectfully, Doctor," he replied, his smile equally ghostly. "I don't think know me as much as you think you do. "But the most you can do for me now is to go to Martha and Jenny and be sure that they are safe and all is well. And keep an eye on them...the universe seems to be changing far to fast these days," the Doctor explained his eyes locked with the other Doctor's hoping that the importance would get across this time. "I do understand that they may be important, however, protecting them will be a lot easier, if I had some idea of what I'm protecting them from. Any information you have may be valuable, even information you take for granted."

The Doctor eyed the chair before him and on principal alone he thought about remaining standing but then again he knew that would have been rather childish and it seemed hardley practical to do so when if you looked at it in a certain light he would only be having a row with himself...hardley practical.
Taking a seat all be it disgruntly The Doctor kept his eyes trained ont eh younger version of himself. SO much ahd happened since that time it was as if he was lookign at another time completely...but then again he supposed he was.
"I do understand that they may be important, however, protecting them will be a lot easier, if I had some idea of what I'm protecting them from. Any information you have may be valuable, even information you take for granted."
Doctor glanced over at Donna and then back at the other Doctor. That was teh problem of course and as much as The Doctor hated to admitt he had very little choice...once again.
"You'll find that is where the problem is...I don't know," the Doctor said the words with such disdaine you would ahev thought they were posioned.
"All I know is what I have told you...the end of the world is coming...in some way shape or form I'm not yet certain but it is coming. Donna here is probably going to have a rather large hand in it...whether she wants to or not," The Doctor explained carefully glancing towards Donna once more.
"But in truth that is all I have at the moment which is a rather large amoutn of nothing. Fact finding and doing what I can to stop what I don't know I'm fighting is where we stand now. That is where you come in; with you there with them you can kepe an eye on them and an ear out for something...bloody well anything that is out of sorts and then we go from there," The Doctor explained.

Donna had become rather redundant inside the TARDIS, and for once she was pleased to be so. She was quite happy to simply hover awkwardly in the back ground and let the Doctors have their little power struggle with her hands in her pockets.
"All I know is what I have told you...the end of the world is coming...in some way shape or form I'm not yet certain but it is coming. Donna here is probably going to have a rather large hand in it...whether she wants to or not,"
And then he'd had to go and bring that up again. Knowing that one was supposed to play an important role in the end of the world and then actually doing it were too different things. Donna had no idea what she was supposed to do, or how to go about doing it, or even if she'd do it right. Having the fate of the world on her shoulders was really not a good feeling.

"And what makes you say that?"

"And what makes you say that?"
The Doctor glanced over at Donna and then back at the younger version of himself as he attempted to figure if it was really his place to explain that even if it was technically merely sharing it with himself...who already knew.
"Not rightly sure that is my right to explain...Donna? I believe this scene belongs to you," The Doctor stated with a ghost of a smile as he turned to gance over at the woman who had quickly become one of his very best friends he had had in a very long time.
With Donna things tended to be very different and it had been a a nice change when she had joined him on the sordid journey which had become their lives in their current state of play.

"And what makes you say that?"
Oh bother. Donna wasn't sure she liked the attention being turned back to her like this. If they'd been talking about awesome temps, then that'd be fine, but no. They were talking about the fate of the world.
"Not rightly sure that is my right to explain...Donna? I believe this scene belongs to you,"
Donna wasn't entirely sure how to answer. Considering she was still having difficulty believing that she was even remotely important, no matter what people from alternate universes told her.
"Well..." she began. "There was this thing... with a bug... and an alternative reality where I'd never met the Doctor and so he died...and then Rose who came here from an alternate universe and..." she glanced between the Doctors, and took a deep breath. "And told me that I was the most important woman in all of creation, and the end of the world was coming... yeah... that about sums it up, I think."
