"There was this thing... with a bug... and an alternative reality where I'd never met the Doctor and so he died...and then Rose who came here from an alternate universe and..." she glanced between the Doctors, and took a deep breath. "And told me that I was the most important woman in all of creation, and the end of the world was coming... yeah... that about sums it up, I think." "Ah," the Doctor replied, with a pondering expression. "Well, I'm grateful you met me, then. Who's Rose?"

"Well...There was this thing... with a bug... and an alternative reality where I'd never met the Doctor and so he died...and then Rose who came here from an alternate universe and...And told me that I was the most important woman in all of creation, and the end of the world was coming... yeah... that about sums it up, I think."
The Doctor sat in silence as he listened to Donna recouont all that had happened in what felt like a very short time...but then again the concept of time was relatively irrelevant at the moment. It was what was left and what they had to deal with which was important; if they sat and thought of what they had left then it would surely freeze everything.
The younger version of himself was learnign far mroe then was probably needed but then again he couldn't exactly be certain what needed to be shared and wat didn't. Even if The Doctor felt as if time was slipping he couldn't focus upon that for reasons he had just attempted to explain to his own thoughts.
"Who's Rose?"
The Doctor's eyes shot up and focused upon his younger self. For some reason he hadn't prepared for that question; though really knowing himself as he did he should have expected it.
"She is..." The Doctor paused before standing up and taking a few steps for the door.
"She's not important. What is important is Martha and Jenny and I would be oblidged if you found them and looked after them," The Doctor explained motioning to Donna that it was time to be on their way. He wouldn't speak of Rose because he couldn't allow himself to be that distracted...not currently.
There was too much at stake. There was the world at stake.

"Who's Rose?"
Whoops. It probably would have been a better idea if she hadn't mentioned Rose. But then again she was the answer the the question... she just didn't think her Doctor would be very interested in discussing the girl, considering their history.
"She is... She's not important. What is important is Martha and Jenny and I would be oblidged if you found them and looked after them,"
Donna quickly moved to the door when the Doctor motioned towards her, as he was clearly eager to get going. Whether it was to avoid talking about Rose, or to get back to saving the world... or both. She was more than happy to help him either way.

"She is..." "She's not important. What is important is Martha and Jenny and I would be oblidged if you found them and looked after them," "Who is she?" he asked, coming to the conclusion that she was something very dangerous, if the question terrified him so. Could she be responsible for all of this?

"Who is she?"
The Doctor stared back at himself before shaking his head slightly. He was a rather persistent being...but then again he kenw that as he was him after all. Just the same this would be one answer his younger self wouldn't be getting from him.
"Her name is Rose and as far as any of this is concerned she is not important. You'll meet her one day and when that time comes you'll understand," The Doctor explained giving as much and rather as little information regarding Rose as he was willing.
Noting Donna's movememnts to towards the door of his younger selfs TARDIS the Doctor noted that it was indeed time to depart. With the new turn of events there was no doubt he would be running into his younger self again soon.
"If you need to contact to me I trust you know how to do so and Martha knows as well."

"Her name is Rose and as far as any of this is concerned she is not important. You'll meet her one day and when that time comes you'll understand." The blond shook his head. "You don't understand. As far as I'm concerned, I'm dead. Out of your timestream. What you remember happens after me, won't happen to me. I'm now completely separate!" "If you need to contact me I trust you know how to do so and Martha knows as well." "You don't have to tell me the sordid details, just enough to make understand her part in all of this."

"You don't understand. As far as I'm concerned, I'm dead. Out of your timestream. What you remember happens after me, won't happen to me. I'm now completely separate!"
As much as The Doctor hated to admit it his younger self was right...but it was still rather frustrating seeing as it was high time to be on their separate ways and the last thing he felt the need to do was speak on Rose.
"You don't have to tell me the sordid details, just enough to make understand her part in all of this."
Taking a few steps forward the Doctors eyes never left the eyes of his younger self. He needed just enough to understand Rose's part in it...that could be done. After all it was rather easy to sum up Rose and what had happened to her...how he had failed her.
"She was my companion...my friend and I..." The Doctor trailed off for several moments the silence nearly growing as large as the interior of the TARDIS.
"I lost her."
They were only three words but each and every time he had to confront those three words it felt as if a hole somewhere inside of him was torn open and honestly there was no bloody time for that; not now.
"Be safe. And give my best to Martha and Jenny. I'm sure you'll have plenty to talk about," The Doctor said straightening sharply and turned back to Donna and the door.

"She was my companion...my friend and I..." The Doctor trailed off for several moments the silence nearly growing as large as the interior of the TARDIS. "I lost her." "Obviously not as much as you thought, if she's communicating you," he replied, wondering why there was quite so much drama about her. Unlike Adric, at least she was alive. Losing companions always left a sort of dull ache, but they were supposed to, weren't they? ""Be safe. And give my best to Martha and Jenny. I'm sure you'll have plenty to talk about," The Doctor said straightening sharply and turned back to Donna and the door. This was getting rather tedious.
